It’s a 2BHK apartment at Royal Aawas, Garchuk, on the 7th floor with a working elevator. Both bedrooms are private, with one large shared living space that I use for lunch, hanging out and other common stuff. There’s also a kitchen, one shared bathroom with a shower, a separate toilet, and a balcony with a really nice natural view of the surrounding neighbourhood.

The apartment is unfurnished, but I’ve already set it up with most of the things you actually need for day-to-day living, including an inverter + battery backup and most basic cooking appliances. You would mainly need to bring a bed and your personal stuff, although any additional requirements you have are absolutely welcome to discuss.

The building has regular property cleaning, and the neighbourhood is peaceful and convenient. It’s just off NH27 through Lachit Garh Road, close to Garchuk Chariali, so getting around is fairly easy and food/grocery/quick delivery options are readily available.

The total monthly cost should work out to roughly ₹10,000 per person, depending on electricity usage. The rent component is around ₹7.9k per person, Wi-Fi is around ₹1k per person, and the rest is mainly electricity and other usage-based costs. If you want to install an AC in your room, that’s completely fine. We can just work out the additional electricity cost separately and split it fairly.

It’s just going to be two people in the flat, with each person having their own bedroom and the living area, kitchen and balcony being shared.

I’m looking for someone who is clean, responsible and generally easy-going. My biggest requirement is that there is no smoking inside the property. Drinking is also not something I’m comfortable having in the house, so that’s another important boundary for me.

Apart from that, I’m pretty relaxed. I’m fine with cats, and I’m open to discussing dogs depending on the situation. I respect personal space and would expect the same in return. I’m not looking for someone who needs everything to be exactly the same way I do it, just someone considerate who can share a home without making it uncomfortable for the other person.

Also, just to be transparent, I’m not the owner of the apartment. I’m currently renting it and the owner has given me the option to find my own flatmate. I can also continue renting the entire place myself, so this is mainly me looking to share the space and make the monthly cost more manageable for both of us.
